What hidden gems are you missing out on?

One of my favorite things about this channel, is simply discovering amazing books that no one is talking about. It gives me such a rush! I guess that means I yearn for the mines… in my own way.

This page will feature all the hidden gems I’ve uncovered so far. It will highlight all the incredibly talented indie fantasy authors who just need a chance to shine. If you need a place to start with indie fantasy, this would be a good place for your TBR.

Award Qualification Criteria

Must be indie/self-published (obviously)

Must be an author submission to the Indie Fantasy Club (you can submit to indiefantasyclub@gmail.com)

Must have <250 reviews (I don’t want to punish Inklings for getting reviews, but I feel like this is a good threshold for a hidden gem)

Must not be featured on any big influencer accounts (Anything over 50k+ subs – I don’t want to punish authors for reaching out to other influencers, but I also need to maintain the integrity of the name of the award)

Can still qualify if they submit to other awards (like SPFBO) if they meet the above criteria
