Kings of Paradise Book Review
This is the first book in the Ash and Sand trilogy by Richard Nell. It’s written in third person and the story follows two main POVs in third person, with a few other random POVs sprinkled throughout.
Of Blood and Fire Book Review
If I had to describe this book, I think it would be a cross between Malice and Eragon. The story has elements of coming of age, the reluctant hero, and chosen one vibes.
Sword of Kaigen Book Review
This book is set in a world inspired by Japanese culture. It definitely has samurai vibes, which I love. The story takes place in a remote mountain village, where powerful warriors defend their homeland using elemental magic. It’s interesting because as the world is modernizing, this village is entrenched in their traditions. I think of it like, what if I told you the Amish had the most powerful warriors in the world, responsible for protecting us against any initial invasion.
Want me to review your story?
Check out the video to learn more about what to expect when I review your self-published fantasy books.
- You have to be self-published to get a review. That should be relatively obvious, but just want to cover all my bases here.
- If you send me a book, I will automatically bump it to the very top of my TBR. If you went through the time, money, effort to send it to me, it’s the least I can do.
- If it would score less than 5/10, I will give you the feedback privately, rather than making a video review.
- I have to be honest in my reviews, even if you send me the book. I know it takes a lot of courage to put your heart and soul out there for reviewers, but I don’t give out fluff reviews.
- I will always try to say something nice about your book, which you can use any quotes for your book cover if you’d like.
- I will also leave a goodreads review of your book with a detailed description of my thoughts, as well as a link to the review video.
